TOUR PRICES:  The prices are quoted in US dollars.  SKI PACKAGES are guaranteed against any fluctuation in the rate of exchange if fully paid 90 days prior to tour departure.  After this period, we reserve the right to adjust prices accordingly.  Also, we reserve the right to pass on any increases received from hotels, airlines or other suppliers of services that are part of the tour package.  A full refund will be made to passengers not wishing to pay increases provided that the passenger’s written cancellation is received by BK Tours & Travel within 5 days after price increase notification. 

RESERVATIONS: All space is on a first-come, first-served basis We suggest you reserve as far in advance as possible.  Due to high demand and limited space, a deposit of $500 per person is required at time of booking.  Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. 

CANCELLATIONS and REFUNDS:  Cancellations for all or any part of the trip will not be effective until received in writing in the offices of BK Tours & Travel.  Should you cancel, the following terms apply:  full refund prior to 60 days from the date of departure, less $100.00 per person administrative fee.  Cancellations received within 31 to 60 days of departure will result in payments received being applied to cover actual expenses, fees and outlays.  Remaining money will be refunded.  Cancellations 30 days or less prior to departure, a no-show or early return from the trip will result in forfeiture of 100% of the published tour cost.  Any applicable airline cancellation and administrative fees will be assessed. 

RESPONSIBILITY:  BK Tours & Travel acts only as agent for the passenger with respect to travel services.  We assume no responsibility or liability in whole or in part for any delays, delayed or changed departure or arrival, missed carrier connections; loss; damage; weather; strikes; circumstances beyond our control; force majeure (Act of God); was quarantine; criminal activity; expenses; accident; sickness; injury or death to person or property; or mechanical defect, failure or negligence of any nature caused in connection with any accommodations, restaurant, transportation or other services or for any substitution of hotels or of common carrier equipment beyond our control, with or without notice or any additional expenses incurred  thereby.  If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors you are required to spend an additional night, you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs.  No refund will be made for any unused portion of the tour due to these causes or voluntary cancellations.  Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely.  The right is reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of this tour at any time.  By forwarding a deposit, the passenger certifies that he/she does not have a mental, physical or other conditions of disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other passengers and accepts the terms of the contract. No revisions of the printed itinerary or the “Included Features” are anticipated.  However, BK Tours & Travel reserves the right to make changes at any time for good reason with or without notice, and BK Tours & Travel shall not be liable for any such cancellations, substitutions or changes that occur.  All fares as well as transportation schedules, port calls, hours of arrival and departure,  special programs and guest lectures (if applicable), are subject to change without prior notice.  BK Tours & Travel shall not be required to refund any portion of the fare or make any other compensations under these circumstances.  BK Tours & Travel cannot be responsible for penalties assessed by air carriers that may result due to operational and/or itinerary changes, regardless if the passenger and /or BK Travel Associates makes the flight arrangements.Any additional expenses resulting from the above will be paid by the individual passenger.  BK Tours & Travel reserves the right to substitute hotels of a similar category for those listed in the brochure.  The air tickets when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the air company concerned and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger.  The airlines and other transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their conveyances. 

MEALS:  Half-board is included unless otherwise specified, and consists of buffet or continental breakfast and dinner at your hotel.  New Years Eve dinner is included unless otherwise specified.  

GROUND TRANSPORTATION/TRANSFERS: In Austria, France, Switzerland & Italy  round-trip bus or rail transfers are included, unless otherwise specified.  

ALL PACKAGES:  Passengers NOT arriving on designated flights, and land-only passengers whose arrivals do not coincide with our group flights must arrange transfers to the ski resort at their own expense.

 SKI PASSES/EQUIPMENT RENTALS:  All packages include a  six day ski pass unless otherwise specified.  Ski Passes may be purchased directly at the resort, along with ski lessons and equipment rentals.  These services can be scheduled in advance. 

EXTENDED STAY:  You may be able to extend your stay in EUROPE in accordance with the terms of the air carrier used.  Additional air fare/land charges may be incurred due to the extension.  If stay is extended, all expenses, such as hotel, transfers,  etc. are the responsibility of the traveler. 

PACKING SUGGESTIONS:  No set rule, however don’t forget aprés-ski boots, gloves/mittens, thermal underwear, goggles or sun glasses and sun screen lotion an warm clothing.  In some  first-class hotels and deluxe resort, it is more formal and a jacket and tie are required  for  men,  Women should dress accordingly. 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:  U.S. citizens require a valid passport to Europe.  Non-U.S. citizens should consult their travel agent or consulate for the required documents. 

FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE:   Most airlines allow two pieces of checked baggage maximum combined dimensions of both 107” but neither bag may exceed 62” or 70 lbs.  A carrying bag not to exceed 43” may be stowed under your seat.  Ski equipment (skis, poles and boots are considered one piece of checked baggage. 

NOT INCLUDED:  Arrival and departure transfers for Land-Only passengers, transportation between home city and airport or portage at USA gateways, airport taxes, passport and visa fees, tips to motor coach driver, portage, phone calls, laundry service and items of personal nature, meals, or other services not specifically shown as “Included Features.”

CONSUMER PROTECTION:  BK Tours & Travel, LLC carries Errors and Omission and liability insurance up to $1 million per traveler.  In addition, as protection against tour default, all tour funds are placed in an escrow trust account to ensure availability to cover tour expenses.
